What do you mean by 'questioning date' of the accused? You must know that accused is never questioned by the court. It is only the prosecution to establish him guilty first. When the prosecution evidences are over, and anything is found therein then the accused is questioned by the court to rebut it by submitting just an evidence which necessarily be not as strong as prosecution's evidence. By the way if accused doesn't want to appear on some day due to some personal reasons then he can submit the application to the court to allow it.
If, your question is that presence of accused is must during the cross- examination of the prosecution witness, then if he is represented by his defense lawyer, then CE cud be done by his defense lawyer even in the absence of the accused who took permission from the Trial court to remain absent on any day.
