I have to file a petition[special leave petition ] criminal
in supreme court.
my query is can I file the petition
as party in person.
is party in person allowed in supreme court.

party in person is very much allowed in all courts of India including SC. However it is not wise to fight case on his own and it is better to engage an advocate.

Party in person can appear but always advisable to avail the services of senior layer.

You can file the SLP in person and this could be e-filed also. However, the Leave would be refused unless there are substantial questions of law involved and they are properly pleaded.

I have similar opinion as advised by experts, you may file and proceed, however, in your own interest seek professional services of a lawyer practicing in SC.

Yes, but it is always better to get guided atleast outside court by an expert lawyer practicing in Supreme court so that your purpose will be solved.
