will the convicted person whose hang date is tomorrow trailed for another murder inside the prison ?

If a convicted person whose hang date is on tomorrow, committed a murder inside the prison, will he be trailed for the murder or will be sentenced to death ( for previous offence) as per the procedure.?

Seems its a hypothetical question . The fact is , the convicted person whose hang date is tomorrow will be kept alone in prison and hence such offence can not be committed.
