What does e-petition mean ?

Hello, Can anyone tell me what does e- petition mean ? To give you a brief idea, i had filed divorce petition first and then she had filed her e- petition... She had later filed maintenance apln u/s 125 also. And finally, she hd also filed DV case. Now in DV case, interim maintenance is awarded to her. Also, in 125, interim maintenance is awarded for minor... Now, does e- petition means Appl. For maintenance ? I will be having a cross for e- petition in my next date.... So wud like to clear these doubts...
