Hi, My situation is as follows:
1. Builder allots an underconstruction flat to 'X' and I buy the flat. A tripartite sale deed is created between the seller (who had originally booked the flat), myself and the builder. Once construction completes, builder hands over the flat to me. I did not complete the registration of the flat. This was in 2005.
2. Now in 2014, I decide to complete the registration formalities. The builder has changed its registered name for the last 5 years and is now operating under a new name (this is a big brand builder). The original purchaser has moved abroad and is missing. I am now at a loss on how to register the flat. It is in a gated complex and a proper association is functional for the community / complex whom the builder has handed over.
Please advice on how can I do the registration now.
