Transfer of Ownership of Property

Dear All, A widow desires to Transfer ownership of her home to her married daughter. what will be procedure, if- a) property is based on Pagadi (tenancy) system, or b) property is on ownership basis? Thnx & rgds

We are PDP ( project affected people )from Navi Mumbai, we are planning to buy/lease(99year on lease) land from adivasi (Shahapur, Murbard, Thane district).can we go ahead and buy this land for agriculture purpose. Can we legally do this process?. Also I heard after paying 30% land price to govt we can be the owner of this property..

Please tell me any way to buy this land legally.

@ Umesh Pratap: the mother can transfer her property to her married daughter by 1) Gift Deed,  2) by Settlement Deed,   3) By a Will;  Do not involve the Pagadi system of transfer because it is not a permanent and legal solution.

Shri Umesh Pratap,

Pagdi system/rental property can not be transferred without the permission of the landlord.  If a family member related by blood is residing with the tenant he/she becomes a deemed tenant.
