I have filed a Divorce case with mutual consent, where in my wife has agreed to transfer Bank Locker which is in our Joint Name ( her name is first and mine is 2nd) in Dena Bank. She wrote a letter to Bank conveying the same, however, bank refused to transfer the locker in my name and asked us both to be present together and surrender the locker.
As she is living in another city, she has refused to come down.
Pls advise what can be taken up with the Bank and if the Bank can refuse such requests and ask to surrender the locker?
Pls help with legal formalities.
