Dear Sir,
We have an old property in Tamil Nadu, India. My parents have rented it to couple of shop keepers some 15 years back without any agreements. They are continuing to pay the same rent (which is well below market rate) without any increase and not willing to vacate the premises as well. We are planning to sell the property for our financial needs but not able to sell because of their presence. How can we deal with this legally. Can we file a case on them for eviction on grounds of selling our property or on grounds for our own use. Our parents are also senior citizens will that help in any way?
