Stamp duty for gift deed

Dear Learned counsels,

Grand Father wants to gift his self acquired property in favour of his Grand Daughter and his Daughter in  law (being wife and daughter of his son).

Is the   requisite stamp duty is to be remitteed for Daughter in law's share (say 50%)    since Daughter in law is not blood relative of the donor ?

I feel no stamp duty is not attracted for Grand Daughter (share say 50% of the property)  since she is from the same blood line of the donor.

The property is in Bangalore, Karnataka.

KIndly Clarify.

The applicable stamp duty has to be paid.

Your own presumptions are incorrect.
