Signed offer letter rejected

Hi

I want to ask a question can I reject the job offer letter which I have accepted on email and sent signed copy to company.

You may read the offer letter verbatim and check if any clause is added on “if you do not join after acceptance of the offer you shall be liable to……….”

If there is no such clause and since you have not signed the appointment letter/joining report you should be within your rights to decline the offer.

In good faith you may write to company expressing your inability to join the company mentioning appropriate reason e.g “you have re examined the offer, and are unable to accept the offer “.
