Should enrica lexie case be close?

In Enrica Lexie case, I am given to understand that  the Italian Government had already given 10 million INR to both of the families of the deceased, and those 2 marines were under house arrest for more than 1 year. They also gave additional 60 million INR to the court. Don’t you think it is enough to close the case against those duo marines? And why did the deceased families accepted those 10 million before completion of the case?

This is not the case in india . The media is all there to hype the case and so does politics prevail in india . It is not known if this was done in lieu for compensation being awarded .

Had such a incident taken place in the gulf the law is such that if the opposite party fogives the accused in lieu for blood money than they are forgiven !!

Well considering that there will be no Death Sentence to the duo marines: I guess we should not spend too much time with mind boggling issues with the Vienna convention, UCLOS 1982 and the Maritime Zones Act 976 and the Jurisdiactional issues. But to tell the duo Italian marines to go home by patting them on their shoulders, forgetting all about the diplomatic niceties.
