Shop registration

Dear Sir,

I wish to start a Fancy Shop at Trichy, Tamil Nadu. I want to know the following detail.

1. Is any registration required for the shop? If yes. please give the details where to contact.

2. I am having PAN. Is it enough to pay tax from the shop earning?

Dear Manikandan,

1.You will require a shop licence from panchayat/municipality, shop registration from labour department.

2. You can pay your tax from shop earnings through your PAN card.
