Respected Dhingra Sir,
1) I joined DRDO as Scientist 'C' in July 2008 (6th CPC pay scale Rs 15600-3900, grade pay Rs 6600) and was promoted to Scientist 'D' (grade pay Rs 7600) in July 2013.
2) I intend to apply for civil services-2015 to be conducted by UPSC. I have informed about this to my Head of the office also before applying. When selected, I would like to submit 'technical resignation' and join as an IAS officer.
3) Kindly guide me in details with relevant Govt orders/rules how my pay can be protected so that I could get the same pay as I am drawing today, after joining as an IAS officer.
