If you are a member you have every rights to inspect and get all records as a matter of right.  Issue a notice to secretary giving entire details of records you wish to inspect under copy to Registrar of societies and if it is rejected make a complaint to Registrar, and if the issue is not solved approach to Consumer Forum praying for compensation/orders for deficiency of services.

A cooperative socirty is not necessarily a public authority and hence not under the purview of the RTI Act. You can seek the information from the concerned Registrar, subject to the restrictions of providing third party information. If you are a member of the society, you can get the information in that capacity.

While agreeing with the experts above I will add that the momet you put RTI on cooperateive body, it is bound to be rejected.

You have a faster and effective remedy without RTI Act sop RTI Act does not apply straightway even on Registrar office in this case.

You can visit registrar office pay fee and see the reocrds filed by the society and take copies thereof.

In case the socieity has not filed the return then RTI can be filed before the registrar who as public authoritiy is emppowered to get the infromation from society and provide.

You can
