If during the life time, either your Nana or Nani write their property in the name of anybody and does not give anything to the children of their deceased daughter (that is you and your sister), it is their legal right.
YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. YOU HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHT TO CLAIM ANY SHARE IN THE SAID PROPERTIES.
However, if they expire without leaving any WILL (wasiyat) then and only then, you and your sister being the children of their deceased daughter, are entitled to some share. OTHERWISE NOT.
