Release letter

I left XYZ company after working for 3 months I quit & didn't give any resignation letter to them & thus I didn't serve notice period.

Just verbally informed them. After that I joined a company & worked there for a few months.

I have my 2nd company's all relevant documents.

Now I have joined a 3rd company & they are asking for my 1st company's release letter which I don't have.

What should be done ??

If you did not resign the employer must have terminated you in its records.

Request the employer to issue “Service Certificate” to you.

Model Standing Orders:

16.  Certificate on termination of service.--Every permanent  workman shall be entitled to a service certificate at the time of his dismissal, discharge or retirement from service.

NOTE. - There is a provision under  this  Act for issuing a service certificate at the time of  dismissal, discharge or retirement and every person is entitled to take such certificate.

It may not issue relieving letter since you did not resign and you were not properly relieved.

However you may try for it too.
