Regarding bond Breakage

Hi, Iam MounikaChowdary,I recently joined a company in which I worked for 3 months and then iam sick o couldn't go to office anymore Doctor advised me to rest for few months which I said the same to my HR and I even submitted few medical certificates but for which they are not ready to accept them and asking for more and more certificates. So I stopped all the communication from them. They Gave me legal notice stating to pay 2lakhs and they are saying that I have the confidential information regarding their project while is not true. But it doesn't have signatures of legal advisor, except name and his contact number. We even tried to speak with MD but he is not even responding. Is this notice really valid?Do I have to face legal issues? Will it effect my career as Iam a fresher!Do I compulsory pay 2lakh Rupees Please help me regarding this. Warm Regards, Mounika

It may not be possible to suggest on the basis of scant information that you provided.

The MD may not be answering since you are already preturbed and anxiously trying to contact.

The employee should submit leave application/sick leave application in acordance with Leave Rules if any, provided by employer.

You seem to have submitted it alongwith medical ceritificate.

Employer can ask for required medical examination if any even from a specialist.

If you have submitted the requisite documents and employer wants some extra tests you may gently ask to provide funds/advance etc.

In title of your query you have posted 'Regarding Bond Breakage', but nowhere in query.

You should not have stopped the communication and rather should have approached a very able counsel specializing in Labor/Service Matters with all docs on record and build irrefutable written record in your favor.

You may now approach a very able counsel specializing in Labor/Service Matters with all docs on record and understand merits  and if opined tender a fitting reply.
