Purchase of agricultural land by a company

Pl advise whether a company can purchase agricultural land in India ? Is it that only individual farmers can be the owners of agricultural land in India ?

Co can purchase the land for industrial purpose and for agricultural prurpose only an agriculturist can purchase the land
