Property Transfer aftet Death

Hello Respected Members I lost my father in april 2016 and he is succeded by wife, a son and a daughter with no children. Property is in Kanchipuram Tamil Naidu. Now that i want to transfer the ownership to all of three us. Hiw do i go about it and what documents are required. Your input is highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It seems to be a simple matter of inheritance.

The share shall be as per personal law that applies e.g; Hindu Succession Laws.

The procedure (with forms) for such matters; Intestate Succession, is usually available on website also or in O/o Authority under whose jurisdiction property falls e.g; MC.

Death Certificate, legal heir certificate are basic requirements.

Comply with procedure and get the latest mutation records showing ownership in the name of all legal heirs.

Very very sorry for delyed response. Thank you very much for the valued response. Yeah we are Hindu and my dat died intestate, of cardiac arrest. So only death certificate and legal heir cerificate are the basic requirement. I don't have to produce succesaion certificate from the court as somebody told me. We already have survuvers' certificate issued by Tehsildar. And i also want to despose the sites as we can not look after them from this far Mysore. Thanks
