1. Go to Taheildar office and get an extract of Khata / Record of rights and check if the property is in your fathers name.
2. Apply for a certified copy of title deed and other documents by paying requsite fees
3. in some states you have to file an FIR stating the loss of documents and also publish in 2 local newspaper.
