Property Ownership

Hi Experts One of my manager is having a problem in the ownership of vast land. The property was purchased by his grand grand father. The current worth of the land is 100 crores. In 1999 his dad sold the entire property received from his parents to his friend for 10 lakhs on paper and brought back with in 1 month. No actual cash transaction was happened. Now he is claiming that these property is actually purchased by him and his son has no right over the property. My manager consulted an advocate near to his house and the advocate too told that you have no rights on the property due to the smart work of his dad. Is this right.. ? If not what should he do next ?

If it is claimed that the property was ancestral. How can manager dad sell the land without consent of the legal heirs. No doubt even if he buys back from the seller there is no way legal heirs rights are lost. All legal heirs can challenge the sale based on their rights derived from their grand father. Manager dad is not smart but short of intelligence or due to some wrong advice

Thanks Naveen for your input. I will tell him to consult another lawyer that stays next to his house..

Another lawyer with some good experience in handling such disputes other than just taking to one lawyer and arriving at wrong conclusion..
