Hi, I am from Mumbai and want to buy land in Itanagar, Arunanchal Pradesh for commercial usage. However, i have been told by local authorities that investment in land in Itnagar is barred for non tibals and outside state personnels by local laws in force.
I want to know if land law of Arunanchal Pradesh prohibits such kind of sale/purchase of land as also how can i buy land in Itanagar for commercial purpose?

Hello Experts, While undergoing research for the same. I found that sixth schedule to the constituition prohibits purchase of land by any non tribal in arunanchal pradesh.
Does anyone still have a solution to such a scenario where one who is non tribal can buy land in itanagar, Arunanchal Pradesh?

In most of the tribals area in the North east, there is prohibition of transfer of tribal's land to non tribal.
