Property

My father is the owner of property in Solapur  - unfortunately he expired in 2008 in Pakistan as a Pakistani national - Now me & my sister (legal heirs & Pakistani nationals)  want to sell the property - Pl. advice how do I sell it - First do I have to make the changes in the ownership showing my fathers death certificate -  I am ready to appoint a probate lawyer who can advice & handle these affairs in India. Pl. advice Thanks

Is the property an ancestral property and are you a Mohemedan by religion?  Because the Muslim personal law in India is different from the Hindu or Indian Succession act, please clarify so that you will  appropriate answer accordingly.

Yes I am a Muslim & this property is in the name of my father & according to Muslim Law the children are the heir to the property - I look forward to a solution Thank You for your help
