Dear Sir,
i had booked one property (Feb-2015) in prelaunch and paid few lacs to the builder and till now the builder has not started work (post one year has gone) though their was nothing in writing from the builder that he will start on which date/month but he told verbally that he will start (may-2015).
I have requested to cacnel the allotment in writing and refund the money but now the builder is telling that he will refund but no postivie reponse as by when (almost one month has passed)
I had paid by cheque and got receipts as well - in receipts nothing of cacnellation is written and nor in letter given by builder stating only pre-launch booking of falt consideration value and name of the project
Pl. suggest how to deal with builder /what is the legal standing pl?
