Hello Sir,
In the recent news we all seen that RBI had waived the preclosure charges for the personal loans.ie No bank can claim the charegs from customer.But when this is going to be active and also wish to know that is it applicable for all banks like SBI,ICICI and HDFC etc.

Definitely this notification is meant for all banks and the referred banks are not wxception.

Dear Raj Kumar,
I have a personal loan with ICICI Bank, which I want to foreclose, however ICICI bank is asking 4% foreclosure charges plus service tax.
They say that they have not been intimated about the RBI circular.
Kindly advise the next steps.
