Power of preliminary decree

hi,

in case of partition suit demand for ancestral property in kurnool AP, to be divided by metes and bounds, plaint vs 2 defendent, where one of the defendant, also a politican, is in forced possession for decades and not letting others to enter ,

what actions can plaint take once a preliminary decree is received. does the plaint need to wait for court commissioner to be appointed and submit report and final decree to take any action . or what power does the preliminary decree gives in this case.

does the defendant filing appeal on preliminary decree has any binding with the decree passed and affects powers of plaintiff to take possession of his share until a final decree is received.?

Any of the parties can move an application for final decree.
