Hi, I need an advice regarding the power of attorney required for the rental agreement for my flat.
I own a property in Pune. I am out of country since a couple of years. For this duration my father was signing the Rent Agreement on my behalf. I had not created a the document at that time. I had submitted the rent agreement to the society they had not requested for any power of attorney at that time.
Now after 3 years they are asking for a Notarized power of attorney on a Stamp paper of 500 rs. I wanted to check if a notarized power of attorney is mandatory in case of rental agreement if the same is signed by my father.
Any help is appreciated.
