Hi,
What will happen to a property, which is on a perpetual lease (99 years) in the Lutyen's Zone, New Delhi, after the current perpetual lease expires? Is it a simple process to renew the lease thru Land & Development Office or the process is complicated.
Appreciate any information on this matter.

Sir,
[1] The term "Perpetual Lease" is a misnomer,, the period is specified at 99 years.
[2] The terms of the lease deed will play a pivotal role after the expiry of the term is lease.
