i joined a central government R&D centre under NC-OBC category in 2009. I belong to NC-OBC category. After one year of training I was posted in one of the sub units of the R&D centre where again my documents were required. At that time i had old NC-OBC certificate. So in the category section i wrote as UR since i did not have new NC-OBC certificate. Now after 4 years i got promotion in this sub unit of the R&D centre. So would i be taken under the UR or the NC-OBC ? . This centre has no reservation in promotion for NC-OBC. All NC-OBC are taken as UR. Can a legal action be taken against me for writing UR instead of NC-OBC in the internal documents of the SUB UNIT ? Whether i can correct this mistake since in the head office i am registered as an NC-OBC ?
