Recently a friends brother met a road accident in Noida. Noida Police took him to Safdarjang at around 1:00 AM in night and informed their realtives at around 4:00 AM. who lives at a distance place in UP, they quickly informed somebody in delhi who reached Safdarjang and surprised to find that Safdarganj has not even started any treatment and the boy was lying in pool of blood since 4 hours, He was then asked to fill up some traditional forms and asked him to get his unltrasound and and CT scan done otherwise they dont know what treatment to be started. His relative then shifted him to AIIMS trauma center but they could not save him because because of huge blood loss.
This is certainly a case of negligeance, why a blood relative is required to admit any accident victim to start a treatment when police itself has brought the victim.Is this a rule in govt. hospitals that if no blood relative is there they will not treat accident victim?
What should we do please advice
