Dear Sir/Mam,
I have booked a flat in Mumbai in Dec 2010 at 6000/sq ft and have already made 30% payment upfront at the time of booking. The work has not started as Commencement Certificate
was not available till 2 weeks back.
The builder has now received the CC and the work will start soon. But now the builder is demanding for new increased price of 8500/sq ft citing the reason for increase
in cost of raw materials.
Is it legal from the part of builder to demand for a new increased price. If no then what needs to be done as a buyer.
Please advice.
