we would like to get marriage certificate as XYZ since passport carry XYZ as name.

We tried to correct the name in Church but they refused not to correct the name.

The Affidavit that you gave with XYZ name if correct in Form for Church Marriage followed by Christian Marriage certificate issued by Authorised Priest as per TN Marriage Rules and the Clerk there made the mistake by putting it as ABC XYZ then it is that Clerks mistake and yours too. Why yours bze a draft copy is normally shown before final printing of the Marriage Certificate.

Now suggested to go again to the same Church and tell the clerical mistake they committed by pointing to the name as correctly filled in the Marriage Form. They are bound to give another Marriage Certificate canceling first one and writing reason thereto.
