name change of property (SRA)

My father purchase a house in Mumbai 1994, in 2000 it was came in SRA scheme & at the time of serving notice by MAHADA person wrongly mentioned the name of my grandmother name on notice after that further all the documents turned into my grandmother's name. we get passion also but now house owner in my grand mother and unfortunately she is no more. kindly suggest what to do. I had tried but as usual government office nobody is having time to suggest. I head already visited 10-15 times MAHADA / SRA / COLLECTOR'S office.

If at all the said notice was issued in wring name, you should have objected in writing under proper acknowledgment, immediately upon receipt of notice in wrong name and built irrefutable written record.

 

If nothing can be done then succession may set in, as per personnel law applicable in your case.
