Sir .. My husband (hindu) and I (sikh) got separated 2 years ago.. not divorced.. my son is 3 yrs old. 1 year ago I got an affidavit made and changed his name also I am bringing him up according to sikh customs. I want to get my sons passport made... do I need to apply for name and religion change in the birth certificate before I can apply for the passport.
Also My passport is in my maiden name but my post marriage surname appears on my sons birth certificate.
Please advice what all documentation I would have to do before I could get a passport made for my son...
