DEAR SIRS
I WORK AS AN ASSISTANT MANAGER LEGAL FOR A COMPANY IN CHENNAI. OUR COMPANY HAS PURCHASED 200 ACRES OF TEA PLANTATION IN NILIGIRIS. THERE ARE AROUND 50 LABOURS IN THE ESTATE. . OUR COMPANY IS WANTING TO ABSORB ALL THE LABOURS FROM THE ESTATE. WE WANT TO HAVE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE LAND OWNERS FOR TRANSFER OF LABOURS. DOES ANY ONE HAVE A FORMAT OF MOU FOR THIS PURPOSE. IF SO PLEASE SEND IT TO ME.

Is there anything called transfer of labour . If ur company wants to absorb the workers pls notify the matter to the workers and let them join afresh .What is the need for an MOU.
