Manager asking for more

I have got new offer with a new company and my current company is asking me for more than 30 days notice period although in my offer letter  it is mentioned lesser than 30 days - and  it seems they will not issue me the formal reliving letter...Pls suggest me the corrective action i should take which will help me grab the new offer as well as in getting proper relieving letter.

The manager can only request and appeal.

The manager or even employer can’t press, force, intimidate.

They are resorting to tactics.

You shall need evidence. Therefore record (audio/visual) and keep some witness. Collect record of attendance. Submit notice of resignation, reminders, final resignation thru rdg. Post preferably and obtain POD from PO.

Relieving letter signifies nothing is due against employee and employee has been properly relieved.

To deny relieving Letter Company may need to level some charge.
