Legal complication under Righ to Information Act

Dear all

I have receive letter from officer under Right to information Act,2005 has directed to  submit all agreement of contractor /sub contractor along with his employee’s details & wage register from last 3 year (2009-2011).

Actually this information demanded by one of the local political leader to the Officer under Right to information act 2005.

Is it necessary submit all document & information to the officer under RTI 2005 ?

If No, what is the legal complication?

Regards

SIR,

YOU MAY REFER THE COPY OF APPLICATION FOR THE SAID INFORMATION AND FOR THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH IT IS REQUIRED BY SAID PERSON.

IN CASE YOU DO NOT WISH TO DISCLOSE THE UNNECESSARY DETAILS YOU MAY CAREFULLY REFER THE PROVISIONS OF SAID ACT OR CONCULT LEGAL EXPERTS TO FIND SOME WAY OUT .KINDLY NOTE THAT YOU MAY DENY TO GIVE INFORMATION AND ALSO INFORM HIM THAT HE MAY FILE APPEAL TO APPEALLATE AUTHORITIES.GOOD LUCK.
