[font=""trebuchet ms""]EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Format

Please follow the format given here in your Expression of Interest. The Expression of
Interest guidelines document sets out the requirements for the content of each section. It is important that you follow the guidelines in composing your Expression of Interest.

Expressions of Interest will be assessed against the overall aims of the Teaching and
Learning Research Initiative (TLRI), its principles, and project priorities as set out in the TLRI overview document. With the exception of the background information provided about the proposed project team members, each section should be a maximum of 500 words. It is expected that Expressions of Interest (excluding the background information about the project team) will be no more than 10 pages long.

Sections

1. Title of research project.
2. Brief description of proposed project and its context.
3. Funding category and total amount sought.
4. Aims and objectives of the research.
5. Research design and methodology.
6. Strategic value.
7. Research value.
8. Practice value.
9. Project timetable.
10. Project team: roles and curricula vitae.
11. Partnerships.
12. Referees.

Note: Remember to attach a completed cover sheet to each copy of your Expression of Interest.
