I am a govt. teacher in uttar pradesh. Whenever I have to take leave, My Principal want application for the same. Sometimes (like during sudden illness), it's not possible to provide application for the same day.
I want to know that Can I send my leave application via whatsapp and deposit the hard copy next day ?

Also download the leave application form.
Generically speaking; Intimation of leave may be sent by email/Redg. Post/phone call/SMS/Whatsapp as acceptable per leave rules and leave sanctioning authority and subsequently leave application be submitted.
The narration of details of intimation may be made in leave application.
IT is a matter that can also be resolved between employees and leave sanctioning authority.
