Dear Members,
My Question is what are Special law for a Physically Handicapped person in any kind of nature.
If he has been tortured mentally or physically.
Any special Commission or Police Station for a Handicapped person in India.
Looking for your valuable suggestion.

These are two legislation i am aware of for handicapped people .In circumstances wherein handicapped people are harrased,a simple fir can be filed to police but police considers the situation and court also takes into account.apart from that,equal oppurtunities also protecrs disables people but the problem is few people know about such laws.hope it helps
1.Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation Act,1955
2.The Industrial Disabilities Act allows disabled people to demand equal opportunities in the workplace
