Kul kayda

Hello,

I have some query related to Kul Kayda.

we have ancestral property in Belgaum ( 40 acres ) which is in dispute. This propertey is in names of my father and his brothers, but due to Kul Kadya  law , the kul have now taken over this property. we would like to have this peace of land back.

Now the question is

1) Is Kul Kadya law applicable in Karnataka as belgaum comes in karanakata state.

2) My grand father on whose name this land was,  had retired from army , as per my knowledge Kul Kayda law is not applicable for army personal, need some light on this.

3) If Kul kadya law is applicable, then under new law , we can still appeal in court, that we do not have any land and some part of this land should be given to us.

Thanks in advance
