Or all those timid liliputs are media propped. But Indian media go crazy getting them so emotionally charged up when covering indian cricket and the cricketers. Why is it that Bolly wood bombshells get attracted to those fragile characters?
Indian Hockey players on the other hand are all Alpha males,robust built and built for the kill. But why media is averse to giving due attention to the hockey players. Are they inferiors to liliputian indian cricketers? 12 Crores for one liliputian indian crickters for the IPL IV matches. That's the sum is equivalent to complete budget for the Indian HOCKEY TEAM with som amount to spare. Both of them belonged to this incredible India. Then why people love to watch cricket with advertisement in between each ball bowled played or left? is cricket is a popular game in the world? No of course not. Only 14 countries in the world happen to play this game .9 out of those 14 cricket playing nations where 70 % of the countries population live below poverty lines . In india 70% of its people live on Rs 20 per day in Trillion dollar plus economy. Its not very dificult to guess that India has more billionnaires, millionnaires than the rest of the countries minus G20 countries put together.
It is therefore essential for us to find the exact reason why Indians are seen crowding around cricketers and not around Hockey players who represent our national game. Is it not a matter of national shame?
