Sir,. Is it mandatory to find out the names of the accused also in the contempt petition, in case of only designations are mentioned in the endorsement given, which constitutes defiance of the court order? Hv seen in other petitions names also having been mentioned together with designations. It is told that such officials only will b held accountable for the offences committed, even if they r transferred/retired also, for the punishment awarded by the courts. The Act is silent about this.
