I am told by my council that as witness (PW1) affidavit is not yet filed and witness being my friend, it may not add any useful value to my impendng divorce. Hence he has cancelled the idea of getting my overrseas witness on record and avoid spending money on appointment of commisioner to oversee video conferencing. He now intends to ask respondent and her witnesses ( RW1) to be examined/submit affidavit in the next hearing, to expedite the proceedings. Does video conferencing in Delhi family courts costs 20 to 25k? Plz advice if avoiding all my witnesses for cross now at this stage would'nt hamper the outcome of my divorce petition.
