IA application - for injunction

hi,
in the case of a partition suit, when a IA application is filed along with the suit seeking a permanent injuction for a temporary relief until the wait for final decree is passed, when will the outcome of IA applicatin will be known. does it run paralelly with the partition suit?
will the IA applicatin has its own number assigned or will it be the same as the cas number assigned to the suit ?

You cannot seek permanent injunction under temporary relief.  You can seek only temporary injunction.  Get your facts right.  Change Lawyer.

IA means interim application and at some places it is being called interlocutory application which is being filed to seek interim relief. IA runs along with main case or unless the IA is finally disposed. In instant case there may be some prayer for interim relief of interim injunction only.

IA application is always registered separately

IA application has it's separate number and it's decision/order is effective till the decision of main suit.court can grant or deny the relief prayed in IA.
