HUF ppf account opened in 2005 and the same has matured this year. However, karta has expired after maturity before closing ppf account.
Please guide whether
1.legal heirs of karta can claim the ppf amount (My doubt regarding this is that the deposit being huf account, whether huf can have legal heirs? and how can the legal heirs of karta claim the huf deposit as it is not the account of karta individually)
2. Whether succession certificate is required for claiming the deposit.
