getting your wife's employment details must be the headache of your advocate 

If your sure her employment in a particular company, just summon the HR department of the company for her complete employement details in the court proceedings relating to the issue of maintenance. Its the job of your local advocate to guide you on these lines and if such advocate fails to do so, just kick him out of your case.
