How to get gpa registered

I’m planning to purchase a plot in Bangalore and would like to give GPA to my brother as I’ll not be in Bangalore during the registration of the property.
In this background, I came to know I need to get the GPA registered.
Could you please let me know the process of getting the GPA registration? Do I need to go to sub registrar office? And also how much time and effort does it usually takes in Bangalore to get the GPA registered?

Thank you.

You will need to get it registered in the sub registrar's office.

do as said by Adv.Archana ji., generally any document registered at SRO, it will be returned in a day or two.
