How to end case after fir is registered and compromise done

Hi,

We filed a civil & crimnal case for poperty dispute in district court.

FIR order were given in crimical case and FIR was registered.

compromise was done in civil case where we gave the statement that we will withdraw all the case and the civil case was dimissed as compromised.

1.   When we tried to end the criminal case JUDJE asked us to go to high court to QUASH FIR but if we go to high court it  will cost us?

2.  Defendants should go to high court and we will give statment to QUASH FIR?

3 Is there any other way?

If the chargesheet has not yet been filed then the other option would be that instead of filing the Charge the police submits a closure report (B report) that would mean that police did not find any evidences and there is no valid charge made out against the accused basis that the lower court can close the case. But the faster and easiest way would be Quash by HC.
