Thre is no need of lawyer if you have knowledge of law and will not waste the time of court, due to ignorance of law. You may apply before legal service authority of your district for providing you a laweyer on govt. expenses if you are unable to bear the expences of lawyer.

YES U CAN FIGHT THE CASE  WITH THE PERMISSION OF THE COURT ..... IF COURT DOES NOT ALLOW U THEN APPROACH TO THE DISTRICT LEGAL SERVICE AUTHORITY . THEY WILL GIVE U A LAWYER FREE OF COST ..

GOOD LUCK
